French trio Birds In Row are bringing their raucous requiems Stateside once again for an extensive North American tour this summer. Colorado fans get two chances to see the band, with an appearance at Colorado Springs’ Black Sheep on May 29th, and Denver’s Marquis Theatre May 30th. A full tour itinerary can be found below.
Additionally, Birds In Row have unveiled an excellent two-song video (Live from Paris) featuring tracks “Love Is Political” and “Triste Sire” – check that out now on YouTube. Both video tracks appear on 2018’s lauded We Already Lost The World LP.
Equal parts melodic and abrasive, Birds In Row can be broadly described as “post-everything,” blurring the lines between hardcore, punk, and all its tangents and derivatives.
Recorded and mixed by Amaury Sauve at The Apiary and mastered by Thibault Chaumont at Deviant Lab, We Already Lost the World blends post punk and angular rock influences into something stunning and electrifying.
After spending the better part of last year support heavy music legends Neurosis and Converge, Birds In Row will climb to the headlining slot for a month’s worth of tour dates alongside spoken word emo quartet LISTENER. Post-folk musician Quentin Sauvé will serve as support.
